Dr. Sharples is a POST-certified Master Instructor and Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with 32 years of frontline and leadership experience in law enforcement. His life’s mission—“Writing the Right for Modern Policing through Emotional Intelligence”—guides his work as an educator, consultant, and advocate for cultural change in policing.
Known for his use of problem-based learning and evidence-based practices, Dr. Sharples equips future criminal justice professionals with the skills to lead with integrity, think critically, and foster trust between agencies and communities.
